Insanity de jour: po'd at ISP's

We've all probably heard about the Government censorship of the internet in China. The only major difference between that and taking away Net Neutrality is that the latter allows people to pay for their free speech. The first amendment however, says that our freedom of speech is FREE; not that it costs whatever our ISP wants, but that it is completely FREE of charge to the average citizen. The only reason that ISPs want to be able to charge like this is because they don't have enough money coming in from their own webhosting services, and want to charge those who use other people's. The point of a free market economy is not to lock people into using your services, but to have better services to attract customers. If people aren't using your webhosting service, one of two things is happening; it isn't good enough for their needs, or it's too expensive. In both of these cases, who's fault is it? The ISP's. No one should be able to charge you for not using their service.
